I believe that traditional Quality Assurance is dying. For too long, QA was treated as a separate phase-a gatekeeper sitting between development and production. This model is fundamentally incompatible with modern agile velocity.
Today, quality must be engineered into the pipeline.
As a Test Automation Architect, I don't just write scripts that click buttons on a web page. I design systems. I implement reproducible environments via Docker and Terraform. I optimize CI runners to slice execution times. I build Page Object Models that survive major UI refactors.
My goal isn't to find bugs-it's to provide engineering teams with such absolute confidence in their automation that they can deploy to production on a Friday afternoon without hesitating.
